Rio Lyn Brass-Silver Polishing Company has been serving the Indian River County since 1982. Peter Baldzana, owner and operator started Appliance-Wood Refinish Co. in New Jersey in 1957. In 1963 he changed the business name to Rio Lyn Brass-Silver Polishing Co after his two daughters, Rio and Lyn. Rio, his oldest daughter, is a hair dresser in Vero Beach, and his youngest daughter Lyn is an Interior Decorator and faux finisher. Lyn travels world wide teaching faux finishing. He was a member of Our Gang Hair Club in Vero Beach in 1982.

Rio Lyn Brass-Silver Polishing Co started in Wabasso in 1982 next to Keith’s Oil Can. He subsequently moved his business to a larger location on Commerce Avenue in downtown Vero Beach. The new location – much larger (2310 square feet) is located in North Side Plaza behind Fantastic Finds Consignment Shop on US Highway 1 in Vero Beach. This gives him the ability to expand his services to include a variety of metals, such as brass, silver, copper, pewter and bronze polishing.

Metals are not his only forte. Peter works on lacquering, wood refinishing and repair, furniture stripping, sand blasting, outdoor furniture painting, and faux finishes. Furniture Refinishing, Furniture Repair, Patio Furniture Sand Blasting, Patio Furniture Painting. He can even make custom made butcher blocks.
